ALPINE – After being chosen as an advisor to the president-elect, an Alpine resident will be leaving Northern Valley and heading to the White House.
Conway, who resides in Alpine, served as Trump’s campaign manager during the presidential campaign and as a senior member of Trump’s transition team.
Conway grew up in New Jersey before heading to Washington D.C. for her undergraduate and law degrees. She eventually settled in Alpine with her family.
Further adding to her busy schedule, Conway also serves as a third grade class parent for the Alpine Public School District, according to the district website.
As Counselor to the President, Conway will “continue her role as a close advisor to the president and will work with senior leadership to effectively message and execute the Administration’s legislative priorities and actions,” according to the statement.
Trump added, “Kellyanne Conway has been a trusted advisor and strategist who played a crucial role in my victory. She is a tireless and tenacious advocate of my agenda and has amazing insights on how to effectively communicate our message. I am pleased that she will be part of my senior team in the West Wing.”
