WOODCLIFF LAKE—The borough has announced a special meeting of the mayor and council on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m., to be held virtually via Zoom. The meeting will focus on two key topics: the Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan Proposal, presented by DMR Architects, and the re-advertisement of bids for the flood-resilient design of the Werimus Lane Pumping Station.

Affordable housing plans are mandated by New Jersey’s Fair Housing Act, which requires municipalities to provide a certain number of low- and moderate-income housing units as part of their development strategy.
