Grewal, the nation’s first Sikh attorney general, took the statewide post with the support of new Gov. Phil Murphy (D).
Today’s prosecutor’s office ceremony will also feature the swearing in of Detective Brittany Biroc and the promotional ceremony of: Capt. Gerard Dargan, Capt. James McMorrow, Lt. Gary Boesch, Lt. Linda McNulty, Sgt. Juan Arroyave, Sgt. Matthew Carroll, Sgt. Michael Klumpp, Sgt. Kelly Krenn, and Sgt. Laurie Schweizer.
Calo, the new acting prosecutor, once led the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Officer Homicide Division before rejoining the office in 2017, according to published reports and available biographical information.
