WESTWOOD, N.J.—Spring Fest Show in the Park is Sunday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, Broadway, Westwood.
This great shopping event is held right before Mother’s Day. The show is promoted by P.J.’s Promotions, which has held shows in Veterans Park for over 25 years, and is sponsored by Westwood Recreation. ShopRite is a gold sponsor of the show.
There will be two shows held on the same day, each in their own area of the park. This fun day will include 95 artists and crafters, along with an antiques and collectibles corner with 20 antique dealers.
Just some of the items shown will be: cement garden decor, hand painted mail boxes, hand-sawn bears, pottery, stained and painted glass, apparel, photography, art, jewelry, birdhouses, turned wood items, inlaid wood cutting boards, hand crafted pillows and totes, lighted glass blocks, repurposed metal art, soaps, quilts, homemade pickles, fudge, candles, and much more.
Certified antique appraiser Jon Felz from RZM Antiques will be conducting appraisals from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a great opportunity to have your items appraised. Felz specializes in swords, coins, fine jewelry, paintings and bronzes but welcomes all items.
The antiques and collectibles section features 20 dealers with silver, old toys, coins, books, linens, photos, pottery, estate and costume jewelry, country store items, pictures, primitives, glassware, bric-a-brac, furniture, and more.
Festival foods such as gyros, sausage and peppers, kebobs, hot dogs, Italian ice, cotton candy and more will be available.
This is a free admission show and is held rain or shine.
