Arts Walk + Wellness Fair returns June 6

"Exploring the Connection Between Creative Expression and Mind-Body Wellness"

Arts Walk and Wellness Fair

WESTWOOD, N.J.—Celebrate Westwood’s ArtsHub and the Westwood Board of Health will present the sixth annual Arts Walk + Wellness Fair on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 4 p.m. downtown.

The event will bring local artists, makers, health professionals, wellness vendors and specialists to Veterans Memorial Park, at Broadway and Third Avenue, highlighting the connection between creative expression and mind-body wellness.

More than 50 participants from Westwood and neighboring communities are expected. Attendees can explore fine art and handcrafted goods, many available for purchase, and take part in interactive art activities hosted by the ArtsHub committee.

Live music will include the Westwood Community Band Jazz Ensemble from noon to 1 p.m., along with acoustic performances by Kimberly Tomaszewski, James Kiernan, Thaddeus MacGregor, Steff Bette and others. The performances also preview Celebrate Westwood’s sixth annual Music on the Avenues busking series, held Friday and Saturday evenings downtown throughout the summer.

New this year, ArtsHub is expanding the Arts Walk through downtown Westwood, with participating businesses and venues showcasing artwork and pop-up gallery installations curated for the event. A map of participating locations will be available June 6.
