CLOSTER, N.J.—A one-day-only holiday sale of unique artwork and crafts will be open to the public at the Belskie Museum of Art & Science on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The sale will feature a wide variety of art prints, pottery, note cards, scarves, accessories, woodwork, photography, jewelry, pet portraits and more, all unique gifts for the holidays by local artists. The show has been curated by Bonnie Holl and Lesley Weatherly.
Closter’s Andrew Weatherly will offer prints of his art exhibited nationally and internationally, Closter potter Ellen Lutvak will display her beautiful and useable creations, and Closter photographer Susan McTigue will display images on canvas that will enhance any wall. Other artists from the area include jewelry designers, Dora Espinoza, Camille Codorniu, and Cherie Schnur. Potters Allen Drossman, Pamela Klein, and Sarah Smith will be joined by artists Odd Anderson, Ellen Singer, and dog portraitist Hope Buzzelli.
A selection of Peruvian alpaca hats, gloves, socks and scarves have been assembled specially for this sale. In addition, psychic Vivi Stockwell will share her special gifts.
Free admission, refreshments and music with all purchases over $100 earning a free gift. Note that cash and checks are accepted (no credit cards). The Belskie Museum is located at 280 High Street (next to the Closter Public Library).
