This year’s Westwood Public Library fundraising gala, Books, Blues & Brews is happening Sunday, Sept. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m.
This 21 and over event is a Friends of the Library fundraiser. Guests will enjoy live music, craft beer tastings, delicious bites, games, raffles and a whole lot more. Tickets are $35 in advance.
• Books: Well, it is a library fundraiser, and along with the food, music and beer, the library is going to celebrate its One Book Westwood choice of “Born to Run” by Bruce Springsteen with a little interactive trivia game with a great prize.
• Blues: The library’s got professional musicians courtesy of Westwood Music Studios’ own, Innova, which will be bringing blues, rock, and and a full band sound.
• Brews: The library has got great craft beer from Alemenatry, Defiant and new this year, Brix City. Delicious tastings from all three plus red/white wine, sodas and water available, too.
Trivia, corn hole, raffles, and 50/50 will all make for a fun night in support of the Friends.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you there,” organizers told Pascack Press.
Tickets are on sale at the Library and at westwoodpubliclibrary.org.
The 50/50 raffle tickets are on sale now too: $20 each for a chance to win up to $2,000.
Westwood Public Library is at 49 Park Ave.
