To the editor:
As Election Day quickly approaches, we wanted to take a moment to urge all Westwood residents (18 and over) to please exercise your right to vote! And as we ponder the choices of parties and candidates, we should ask ourselves who do we really want running the borough of Westwood? Don’t get us wrong—all of the candidates are caring, kind-hearted people, who want to make a difference—after all, why else would they take time away from their personal lives and families to run for office?
That being said, what Westwood needs and what all Westwood residents deserve is a team of leaders that have a proven track record for Always putting Westwood first! We encourage you to do your homework; and if you are reading this, you are! An educated resident is the best voter! And if you do your due diligence, we are certain you will agree that the candidates with the experience and proven track record are Westwood Council President Ray Arroyo for mayor along with Councilwoman Beth Dell and Councilman Rob Bicocchi for re-election. Always Westwood has our votes! What about yours?
