PARAMUS, N.J.—Two alleged burglars targeted over 40 concession stands at Bergen County Little League fields, pools, and rec centers, county prosecutors said.

Michael J. Kaloudis, 31, of Stanhope and Angela M. Lopez, 34, of Middlesex, were arrested June 24 in connection with the incidents, the BCPO said.

The crimes shared the same Modus operandi, the BCPO said: “Specifically, the suspects would force in doors or windows during the overnight or early morning hours and steal cash, food and beverages, and concession stand appliances and tools.”

About 30 law enforcement agencies—including nearby Teaneck,  Fort Lee and Paramus police—aided the investigation, the BCPO said.

“Through evidence obtained by law enforcement agencies throughout New Jersey, Michael J. Kaloudis and Angela M. Lopez were developed as the primary suspects in over 40 concession stand burglaries,” the BCPO said.

They are both charged with 11 counts of burglary (third degree) and one count of theft (third degree). There are pending burglary and theft charges for both Kaloudis and Lopez in other New Jersey counties, the BCPO said.
