EMERSON—A Covid-19 vaccine clinic for booster doses and third doses of the Moderna vaccine will be held Monday, Dec. 13 from noon to 2 p.m. at Emerson Senior Center, 20 Palisades Ave.
The event is sponsored by Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission and the Borough of Emerson. Pre-registration and an appointment are required by calling (201) 445-7217. The clinic will administer only the Moderna vaccine.
All adults, 18 and older, are eligible for booster doses. Adults who are moderately to severely immunocompromised are eligible for full third doses.
To attend the clinic, you must have completed your two-dose vaccine series (Moderna or Pfizer) by June 10, 2021, or completed your one-dose vaccine series (Johnson & Johnson) by Oct. 10, 2021. Officials urge attendees bring their vaccination card and a face mask to the clinic.
An event flyer advises, “If you have any concerns as to whether you meet the criteria for either the booster dose or third dose of the vaccine, please discuss this with your health care provider.”
