HILLSDALE, N.J.—Wine enthusiasts and nearby neighbors can enjoy Demarest Farms Wine Festival on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11, when the neighborhood farm will host award winning wineries from around New Jersey.
The event is at 244 Wierimus Road, Hillsdale, from noon to 6 p.m. both days, features wine tasting, live music, and food.
The cost is $12 per person, which includes a wine tasting glass, sampling of wines from all wineries, and admission to band performances. The Kover Up Band, a Beatles tribute band, is scheduled.
The event is rain or shine. Admission for people under 21 is $5. The farm also hosts peach picking from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Participating wineries include Pladigo’s Winery, Dimatteo Winery, Wagonhouse Winery, Valenzano Winery, Villa Milagros Vineyards, and Villari Winery.
The lineup of wineries is subject to change.
