ENGLEWOOD, N.J.—On April 18 at about 9:58 p.m., an officer responded to Mattlage Place, Englewood, pursuant to numerous 911 calls of shots fired.
Additional calls indicated that a 33-year-old female victim was shot in the foot.
Upon arrival, officers attended to the victim, who was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with what appeared to be non-life-threatening wounds to her feet.
Police said the shooting is actively being investigated.
“The suspect is at this time unknown, but we are pursuing several investigative avenues,” said Deputy Chief Gregory Halstead on April 19.
