ENGLEWOOD, N.J.—On March 11, the Englewood Police Department received information that Willie Drone had engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile from 2016 until the present in Englewood.
As a result of the investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Englewood Police Department, Drone was arrested on Tuesday, March 12 and charged with: two counts of aggravated sexual assault, first degree crimes; two counts of sexual assault, second degree crimes; one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a second degree crime; and one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact, a third degree crime.
Drone was detained at the Bergen County Jail and was scheduled for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on March 13, 2019.
Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He thanked the Englewood Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
