NORWOOD, N.J.—Detectives arrested a 27-year-old New York City man after a month-long investigation.

A Norwood resident had previously reported that an unknown person without authorization created a social media account in her name which contained pictures of her that she did not wish to share.

Detectives were able to determine that the account was created by the victim’s ex-boyfriend.

The man turned himself in at Norwood Police Department headquarters on Jan. 22, at which time he was charged with cyber-harassment, a third degree crime.

The defendant was processed and released pending a Superior Court appearance date.
