ENGLEWOOD, N.J.—On July 31, several residential and vehicle search warrants were executed by the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team leading to the arrests of three Englewood men and a fourth from Teaneck, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Englewood residents Roy C. Theodore, 32, Rafael Lynch, 32, Lamar Alexander, 51, and Teaneck resident Malcom Harrell, 31, were arrested as a result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, said Musella.
In June 2019, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force received information that Theodore, Lynch, and Harell were involved in the distribution of controlled dangerous substances within Bergen County, said Musella.
Theodore was arrested without incident at his residence in Englewood, said Musella. Crack cocaine was recovered after being discarded out of the window and $3,449 was also located and seized, he said. Theodore was charged with possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, a third degree crime, and one count of tampering with evidence, which is a fourth degree crime, Musella said.
Lynch was also arrested at his residence in Englewood where Oxycodone and marijuana, along with numerous empty, unused plastic bags often used for packing and distributing illicit drugs were found, Musella said. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone within 500 feet of a park and within 1,000 feet of a school, both second degree crimes, along with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to Musella.
Harrell was arrested without incident at his residence in Teaneck, where cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia were located and seized, Musella said. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, marijuana, and Oxycodone within 1,000 feet from a school, a third degree crime, said Musella.
Alexander was not home when his Englewood residence was searched; however, both crack cocaine and marijuana were seized, said Musella. Alexander voluntarily surrendered to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and was charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana, a third degree crime and a disorderly persons offense, Musella said.
All four of the accused were released on summonses pending their first appearances at Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, said Musella.
