PASCACK VALLEY—The Westwood Health Department hosts a free rabies clinic on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the train station on Broadway. Cats are seen from noon to 12:30 p.m., and dogs from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Pre-registration is required, with forms available on the borough website at westwoodnj.gov under Pet Licensing. Bring proof of pets’ prior rabies vaccination. The vaccine will be valid for three years for pets with prior vaccination proof; pets under 1 year or lacking proof will receive a one-year vaccine. All dogs must be leashed, and cats in carriers. Dr. Dyan Muller will administer vaccinations.
The Township of Washington‘s free annual rabies clinic is on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the DPW building, 350 Washington Ave.
The Park Ridge free rabies vaccination clinic is Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the utility garage, 15 Sulak Lane. Dogs will be seen from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and cats from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Proof of prior rabies vaccination is required for a three-year vaccine. This clinic is open to New Jersey residents only. All dogs must be leashed.
Hillsdale‘s free rabies clinic is Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Stonybrook Swim Club, 183 Cedar Lane.
Emerson‘s free rabies clinic is Saturday, Nov. 9 from 11 am. to noon at the DPW, Palisade Avenue.
River Vale’s free rabies vaccination clinic, hosted by the River Vale Board of Health and NorthWest Bergen Regional Health Commission, is Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Community Center, 628 Rivervale Road. All dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in carriers. Please bring pet tags or proof of previous rabies vaccination.
Montvale’s free rabies clinic is for residents only on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the DPW garage, 1 Memorial Drive, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Dogs must be on non-retractable leashes, and cats in secure carriers. Proof of a previous rabies vaccination is required for a three-year vaccine.
