GO LOCAL: Westwood Elks to host Texas hold’em poker tourney

WESTWOOD, NEW JERSEY —— The Westwood Elks will host a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on Feb. 18, 2018, at Kinderkamack Road., Westwood.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and the check-in game starts at 5 p.m. sharp. Exalted Ruler Len Kientz states that the profits from this tournament will benefit Westwood Elk Charities, the veterans, special children, and communities.

There is a $100 buy-in and the tournament will be conducted according to Texas hold’em rules. There will be beautiful full size tables, regulation cards, fully licensed dealers, and a 5,000 starting stack, with a re-bug during the first hour. Play 2,500 chips for $50 or 5,000 chips for $100. Add-on is permitted at the break. The winning hand will be framed and the winner will receive a champion bracelet.

Register by Feb. 16 to get a 500 chip bonus. There is over a $5,000 prize pool, estimated on 75 players.
