TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, N.J.—Grace Catherine Skuches, of the Township of Washington, passed away in her home on Sept. 7, 2017. Grace was born in New York, NY, on Dec. 30, 2014.
She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Jennifer Skuches, and her brother, John K., and sister, Rose V., of the Township of Washington. She is survived by her grandparents, Henry and Barbara Dondero, of Glen Cove, NY, and Gail Skuches of Westminster, CO. Also her godparents, Henry and Alexandra Dondero, of Glen Cove, NY, and Paul and Stacie Skuches, of Northglenn, CO.
Though Grace’s time here was brief, she left a lasting impression on everyone she touched. Her tenacity, strength, and resilience helped carry us through her brain cancer battle for the past two years. Grace truly loved her brother and sister, Minnie Mouse, ice cream, and especially Hershey’s chocolate kisses.
Grace’s funeral service is at The Basilica of Saint Patrick’s Old Cathedral, 273 Mott St., New York, NY 10012 on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at 4 p.m. Internment follows in the Columbaria. A gathering of family and friends will follow at St. Patrick’s Youth Center, 268 Mulberry St., New York, NY.
