HARRINGTON PARK—The borough will welcome families, neighbors, and law enforcement for National Night Out 2025 on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Hoelscher Field (formerly Highland Field), across from 150 Tappan Road.
Hosted by the Harrington Park Police Department, the event promises an exciting evening of community connection, public safety outreach, and family fun. Highlights include food trucks, free giveaways, bounce houses, a train ride, and a rock climbing wall. Law enforcement agencies from across the region will display vehicles and equipment for photo opportunities, and the New Jersey State Police will perform a helicopter flyover during the festivities.
As part of a countywide initiative, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office will partner with the Harrington Park Police and nine other local departments to promote public safety, build relationships, and share resources. Prosecutor Mark Musella said detectives, assistant prosecutors, and support staff will be on hand to meet residents and distribute crime prevention information.
“National Night Out is a unique opportunity for us to share important safety information as we engage with local residents,” said Musella. “This annual gathering is a crime prevention event—an open invitation to discuss how we can work together to improve safety and community well-being.”
Musella extended his thanks to the Harrington Park Police Department and the other participating towns for their dedication to community engagement.
In addition to Harrington Park, National Night Out celebrations will be held in Cliffside Park, Fairview, Garfield, Hackensack, New Milford, Paramus, Rochelle Park, Rutherford, and Saddle Brook.
