Westwood teen had marijuana

On June 28 at 2:38 p.m., Officer Andrew Soltes conducted a motor vehicle stop on Schraalenburgh Road. 

Investigation revealed the 19-year-old male driver from Westwood was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and transported to Haworth Police Headquarters for processing.  

The defendant was subsequently issued a complaint-summons charging him with possession of marijuana, 50 grams or less and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

The defendant was fingerprinted, photographed and released on his own recognizance. The driver was issued six motor vehicle summonses.

Teen riding in car had alcohol

On June 30 at 2:51 p.m., Officer Andrew Soltes conducted a motor vehicle stop on Schraalenburgh Road. Investigation revealed a 17-year-old male passenger from Westwood was in possession of alcohol under the legal age. 

The juvenile was placed into protective custody and transported to Haworth Police Headquarters for processing.

The juvenile male was subsequently released to a guardian; charges pending subject to review by the Juvenile Bureau. The driver was issued a total of two motor vehicle summonses.

Driver had liquid THC, paraphernalia

On July 3 at 9:50 a.m. Officer Andrew Soltes conducted a motor vehicle stop on Hardenburgh Avenue. Investigation revealed the 18-year-old male driver from Fairfield, N.J., was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely liquid THC and drug paraphernalia. 

The actor was placed under arrest and transported to Haworth Police Headquarters for processing. 

The defendant was subsequently issued a complaint-summons charging him with possession of marijuana, 50 grams or less and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

The defendant was fingerprinted, photographed and released on his own recognizance. The defendant was issued three motor vehicle summonses.

Teens had liquid THC, alcohol in car

On July 6, 2019 at 12:38 p.m., Officer Kevin McKeary conducted a motor vehicle stop on Schraalenburgh Road. Investigation revealed a 19-year-old male passenger from Hillsdale was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely liquid THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol under the legal age. 

An additional 18-year-old male passenger from Woodcliff Lake was also in possession of alcohol under the legal age.  Both were placed under arrest and transported to Haworth Police Headquarters for processing.  

The defendants were subsequently issued complaint-summonses charging the actors with possession of marijuana, 50 grams or less, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol under the legal age.  The defendants were fingerprinted, photographed and released on their own recognizance.
