Head-On Crash with Injuries in Harrington Park

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J.—A serious two-vehicle accident occurred about 7 a.m. Wednesday morning on Old Hook Road in Harrington Park, resulting in one person being airlifted by helicopter to a nearby trauma center.

The two-vehicle crash involved a Toyota Rav4 and Honda Odyssey and occurred on Old Hook Road, between Bogert Mills and Schraalenburgh roads.



A medevac helicopter from Hackensack Meridian Health transported at least one victim from the scene.

From crash scene photos posted online, it appeared to be a head-on crash, with both vehicles’ front ends destroyed upon impact.

A child’s car seat was seen in photos lying on the ground near the accident.

It was not clear how many people were involved in the accident, or the extent of injuries.



Efforts to reach Harrington Park Police for further details were not immediately returned.
