WESTWOOD—Parkside Community Church, 545 Fourth Ave., has announced the upcoming arrival of The Healing Grove Counseling Center, a planned 501(c)(3) nonprofit that will provide outpatient, in-person and virtual mental health counseling for adults experiencing depression, anxiety and everyday life challenges.

At The Healing Grove, clinical interns will provide care under the supervision of Dr. Anna Flores Locke, a licensed professional counselor with more than 20 years of experience, including 10 years as a counselor educator. Locke also owns Charlandra Counseling Services in Woodcliff Lake.

“The Healing Grove is a place where people feel supported and future counselors grow into confident, ethical clinicians,” Locke said. “We’re proud to create a space that meets real community needs while building the future of affordable and accessible mental health care.”

To support the opening of the center, The Healing Grove Counseling Center will be the beneficiary of a bingo fundraiser hosted by Parkside Community Church on Saturday, June 13, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the church.
