The Hillsdale Helping Hillsdale Food Pantry is asking for the community’s support as supplies of many essential items run low.
Donations may be dropped off at Hillsdale United Methodist Church, 349 Hillsdale Ave. (drop bins are located on the Magnolia side). Gift cards are always welcome and can be brought to the Food Pantry during operating hours or to Borough Hall.
Items especially needed include:
Sugar and flour; baby food (Stages 1 and 3); coffee and tea; apple juice; shelf-stable milk (Parmalat); meat sauce; oil and ketchup; grape jelly; canned yams; canned pineapple, peaches, and pears; egg noodles; boxed potatoes; ramen noodles; mayonnaise and mustard; whole tomatoes; tomato paste; black olives; mushrooms; cookies and crackers; breakfast bars; shampoo and conditioner; pump soap; men’s and women’s deodorant; toilet paper; paper towels; facial tissues; and diapers (sizes 5, 6, and 7).
