Joan’s Joy Annual Giant Yard Sale is set for May 24–25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the 45 Florence St. home office of Joan’s Joy Memorial Foundation.
You’ll find 20 tables of items, six racks of clothes, beautiful furniture, and a bake sale.
Joan’s Joy thanks the more than 15 volunteers who have been preparing for the event, and the many friends and supporters who donated goods.
Copies of the newly released book “The Killer Across the Table: Unlocking the Secrets of Serial Killers and Predators With the FBI’s Original Mindhunter,” by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker—featuring nine chapters about Joan’s case and legacy—will be available for sale.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit Joan’s Joy Foundation, which sends needy children from YCS Holley Center and young people from Covenant House to concerts, shows, and Six Flags Great Adventure.
