Knights Wine Tasting Fundraiser At Seasons Feb. 9

TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, N.J.—Knights of Columbus Mother Seton Council #5427 is hosting a wine tasting fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 9 to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

This popular fundraiser has outgrown the K of C Council Hall and has been moved to Seasons to accommodate the anticipated 300 or so guests.

The evening features a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, hot and cold stations, and wine pairings with each serving. There also is a full open bar all evening.

Tickets are $100 per person. The event starts at 7 p.m. at Seasons Catering, Washington Avenue and Pascack Road.

This year’s charity focus is on cancer and our veterans. The American Cancer Society, Tackle Kids Cancer, Bergen County Tracers and Operation Sisterhood, and New Jersey SOS Veteran Stakeholders Group will share the proceeds.

Tricky Tray packets are $30 for 25 tickets and one grand prize ticket. Additional packets are $10 each.

The committee is asking for donations of gifts that can be used in the various auctions that will be held that night. For cash donations, make checks payable to the Knights of Columbus and mail to the above address. Gifts can be left at the Council from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. weekdays and all day Saturday.

There will be a silent auction that you can be a part of from your smart phone, iPad, computer, or similar online device.
