The members of American Legion Post 162 of Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake, and Old Tappan thank the local residents and businesses who supported our 2019 Poppy Drive.
The annual drive, which generally runs for the month of May, is the prime source of funds for our support of active duty military, their families, and veterans in need. One hundred percent of the funds raised goes to these causes.
We also thank everyone who came out for the Hillsdale Memorial Day Parade and stayed for our ceremony in Veterans Park.
Honoring those who served and sacrificed reminds us all of the challenges our nation’s military faces.
This recognition is the reason we are upgrading our Veterans Memorial in Hillsdale to encompass all of our country’s conflicts in support of liberty for people around the world.
