PARK RIDGE—One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $1,405,135 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, April 20, drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Krauszer’s, 127 Park Ave., according to New Jersey Lottery. The winning numbers were 5, 8, 21, 38, and 40 and the XTRA number was 2. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.
“Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we’re already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize!” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.
Nine daily drawings were held without a top-prize winner before Thursday. The jackpot for Friday’s drawing rolls back to an estimated $100,000.
The odds of a $1 ticket matching all five numbers (between 1 and 45) are 1,221,759 to 1.
