Honored guests in attendance were state Sen. Gerald Cardinale, state Assemblyman Robert Auth, Harrington Park Mayor Paul Hoelscher, Sgt. Peter Fay of Harrington Park Police Department, Harrington Park Fire Co. President Gary Kelly and NVOT Assistant Principal Jennifer Mezzina.

Seth is a member of Troop 616 of Harrington Park. Scoutmasters are John Terranova and Michael Jordan.

Seth’s trail to Eagle began when he was in first grade when he joined as a cub scout. He fulfilled several leadership positions including Patrol Leader and Order of the Arrow representative. Seth is currently a senior at Northern Valley Old Tappan High School.

For Seth’s Eagle project, he collected over 2,000 toiletries for the county homeless shelter. He set up signs and bins around town and he also stood at local food stores on several occasions with a handout listing the items that he was collecting and that shoppers donated. He presented six large boxes and three large bags of toiletries to the Bergen County Housing, Health and Human Services Center in Hackensack.
