Mayors to field questions Oct. 3; cash bar open

RIVER VALE, N.J.—The mayors from all 10 towns in the Pascack Valley have been invited to present their mid-year town update Oct. 3 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the River Vale Country Club, 660 Rivervale Road, River Vale.

An Evening with the Pascack Valley Mayors is open to the press and public. Desserts and light refreshments will be served. A cash bar will be available.

The annual event hosted by the Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce. During the presentation, each mayor (or their representative) will answer questions submitted by chamber members for candid responses.

Hot-button questions are expected to deal with redevelopment, deer, and affordable housing in Emerson, Hillsdale, Montvale, Old Tappan, Oradell, Park Ridge, River Vale, Washington Township, Westwood, and Woodcliff Lake.

The GPVCOC, a nonprofit organization works with local chambers of commerce to improve the quality of life for all, sponsoring such events as the Greater Pascack Valley Citizen of the Year dinner, Taco Tuesday, networking events, and grand openings, and supporting philanthropic events for community groups and raising funds for college scholarships.
