The Harrington Park Police Department is proud to announce its participation in the 2018 National Night Out (NNO) Program on Aug. 7.
“National Night Out promotes a partnership between the community and the police, in conjunction with fire, and emergency medical services,” Harrington Park Police said in a statement.
Participating agencies include the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and the Hackensack University Medical Center’s Helicopter, which is scheduled to land on the north field of Highland Park.
Other agencies include the Bergen County American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Bergen County Communications Mobile Command Unit, and the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department.
“The Harrington Park community is invited to attend and participate in this meaningful event, and witness first-hand the services provided by first responders,” the department announced.
The event will be take place between 6–9 p.m. at Highland Park located on Tappan Road.
“On behalf of all Harrington Park first responders, we look forward to a night of significant events and entertainment for all to revel in,” the police department announced. “Our goal remains in providing personalized, caring, and professional services to a community we hold in the highest esteem.”
