New Englewood Residents Get Festive Welcome

Englewood, N.J.—On Sept. 22, Mayor Wildes, the Englewood City Council and the Englewood Chamber of Commerce (ECC) welcomed over 20 new residents to Englewood at a festive reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. 

From 6 to 8 p.m., the Meet and Greet showcased over 60 local businesses and organizations, including the Englewood Rotary, The Englewood Department of Health, the Englewood Public Library, the Englewood Recreation Department, and many more. 

The new residents and their families met with Mayor Michael Wildes, ECC President Carol Rauscher and Councilmen Wayne Hamer and Charles Cobb. 

Other officials welcoming the new residents were Englewood Police Chief Lawrence Suffern, Deputy Chief Gregory Halstead and Englewood Fire Department Capt. Jeff Kaplan. 

Residents were treated to refreshments, backpacks, gift bags and an enthusiastic welcome.
