MONTVALE, N.J.—With all of the great events around Bergen and Rockland counties, the Montvale Street Fair, hosted by the Montvale Chamber of Commerce, is one of the season’s most popular, attracting more than 20,000 people from all over the region.
Wegmans Food Market is the title sponsor, leading 25 other great sponsoring companies from around the area.
This year’s 9th Annual Street Fair, on Paragon Drive, runs Sunday, June 9 from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
The tree-lined street is transformed into a large fair—fun for the whole family—with 150 vendors featuring antiques and crafts from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
There are rides and amusements for the kids, 30 food vendors at two food courts, a special arts and crafts section, a kids area, a community section, and continuous live entertainment.
The Kids Traveling Shindig section in the parking lot by the Summit Avenue entrance will brim with all kinds of fun, from kiddie rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, a climbing wall, clowns, face painting, sand art, temporary tattoos, live entertainment, and much more.
Come hungry! Organizers plan all kinds of delicious foods. You’ll find a gourmet food truck court across from the beer garden run by Davey’s Irish Pub. Here you’ll find empanadas, kettle corn, sausage and peppers, cheese steaks, hot dogs, ice cream, fresh- squeezed lemonade, Italian ice, gourmet grilled cheese, zeppole, funnel cakes, hot sandwiches, French fries, chicken fingers, sweet potato fries, gyros, hamburgers, and so much more.
If you like outdoor shoppin, this is the place to be. And stop by the many sponsor booths to see what goodies they have.
Like live music? Don’t miss the hot show planned with live music, dance, and demonstrations from the local dancing schools, karate clubs, and more.
There will be chairs set up so you can relax, eat, and enjoy the show all day long.
