NORTHERN VALLEY AREA, N.J.—Calling all little ghouls and goblins, pirates and princesses! The Northern Valley Coalition is set to sponsor its sixth annual Trunk or Treat, with events taking place at each regional high school during Halloween week. Both events are free.
“The Northern Valley Coalition has been working with all the community schools, district police departments, and PTOs to be able to have alcohol and substance-free community events like their Trunk or Treat,” organizers told Northern Valley Press.
“Don’t miss out this year! Come see the high school kids who have decorated their car trunks with Halloween decorations and are ready to give out candy to the younger community children.”
The event takes place Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Northern Valley Demarest High School, 150 Knickerbocker Road, and Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Northern Valley Old Tappan High School, 100 Central Ave., from 5–7 p.m., rain or shine.
Donations of wrapped Halloween candy are being accepted at the Closter Police Department located at 295 Closter Dock Road now through Oct. 28.
