Norwood 7-Eleven Sold Two Winning Lottery Tickets on New Year’s Eve, Officials Say

NORWOOD, N.J.—The 7-Eleven on Livingston Street here sold two lucky tickets New Year’s Eve, both worth $184,781, state lottery officials announced.

The tickets matched all five numbers, splitting the $369,562 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on the Dec. 31, 2019, said New Jersey Lottery.

The winning numbers were 9, 20, 29, 33 and 35 and the XTRA number was 04.

The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold, officials said.

Acting Executive Director James Carey said that there were 475,268 tickets purchased for the drawing. 

For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 82 ticketholders won $539 each and five others won $2,156 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 2,867 ticketholders won $15 each and 457 others won $60 each with the addition of XTRA.
