Janet (Dane) Bouthillier, 60, of Tenafly passed away on Jan. 6, 2019 after a courageous battle against a fast moving and aggressive cancer.
Beloved wife of Paul for over 31 years. Predeceased by her loving parents Robert and Vera Dane of Closter. Sister to Ken Dane and twin sister to Jean (Dane) Nonenmacher and her husband John. Paul and his family, Peter, David, Marc, Mary, Anne brother-in-laws Ray & Mark and nieces and nephew Amy, Jessie, Emily and Evan as well as lifelong friends Sharon, Pam, Amy and Lisa will cherish the time they all had with her and will keep her spirit alive in our memories. Janet was loved by all and our hearts are forever broken.
Janet was born in Hoboken, N.J. and grew up in Closter. She worked for Green Mtn. Tours, Englewood Hospital and Valley Hospital for 32 years, which is where she met her husband Paul. She was supportive of her family and friends in times of need over the years and she shared so much with her twin sister Jean.
Janet was proud of her home/ garden and she cherished the neighborhood in which she lived. We all loved her and will be so dearly missed. Janet loved to host parties and barbeques. A glass of wine was always at the ready and she was famous for her cheese cake cupcakes.
A celebration of life will be held at Moritz Funeral in Closter, NJ on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, from noon to 3 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to Holy Name Hospice or your favorite charity in honor of Janet is suggested.
