Pascack Hills out of the gate with 48-6 win

MONTVALE, N.J.—Pascack Hills opened its 2026 football season with a commanding 48–6 victory over Belleville on Friday night, giving Coach Matt Marini, an ’08 alumnus, his first win as a head coach.

The Broncos scored four first-half touchdowns, posting 27-6, with another three yet to come. Andrew Hamilton led the rushing attack with 100 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries. Jack Epstein added 77 yards and two touchdowns on nine attempts.

Dane Brimigion and Chase McDowell each scored a touchdown. Brimigion completed two of three passes for 39 yards with one interception. McDowell rushed for 53 yards on three carries and caught a 30-yard pass. Brady Frischer added 22 rushing yards and a nine-yard reception.

George Harcher converted six of seven extra-point attempts, with one blocked, and kicked two touchbacks. 

The team credited Hudson Mahon and McDowell with strong defensive performances as Pascack Hills held Belleville to six points and began the season 1–0.
