HILLSDALE, NEW JERSEY —— The Pascack Valley High School Tri-M Music Honor Society hosts its annual Induction Concert on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. The concert is free and will include a variety of classical and jazz pieces performed by Pascack Valley High School’s most distinguished musicians.

A special treat for the audience promises to be a performance by a professional jazz trio led by Dean Tomanelli.

The students who are inducted into the International Tri-M Music Honor Society are charismatic, musically proficient, and dedicated.

For membership in the Tri-M Music Honor Society, students must be enrolled in a full period music course such as Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Concert Band, or Concert/Marching Band, and be involved in the music community in their school and beyond. Several of the inductees are members of the prestigious Bergen County, Regional, All-Eastern, and All-State choirs, bands, and orchestras.

Choir Director Argine Safari established the Pascack Valley High School Chapter No. 5873 in 2008. She advises the society and is the 2017 New Jersey State Teacher of the Year.
