DEMAREST, N.J.—The Demarest Free Public Library presents Europe in Black and White, a solo photography exhibition by Ariana Gavriilidis, on view throughout the month of July.
Gavriilidis, a New Jersey-based photographer, captures her domestic and international travels using 35mm film, an iPhone, and a digital Nikon camera. In addition to her creative work, she is active in post-production for television shows and documentaries and helps produce video and photography content for digital creators and local businesses.
“As July is National Park and Recreation Month, I’m donating the proceeds of every picture sold to the National Park Foundation,” she says. “The NPF raises funds to help protect and enhance national parks, connect people with their natural and cultural resources, and engage the next generation of stewards.”
Gavriilidis’ work has previously been featured at venues including the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, GARNER Arts Center in Garnerville, Art in the Park Festival in Paramus, and coffeehouses and libraries across New York and New Jersey.
