PHOTOS: Northern Valley Regional High School District Seniors Graduate

NORTHERN VALLEY AREA, N.J.—More than 500 graduating seniors from the Northern Valley Regional High School District’s Old Tappan and Demarest campuses celebrated the culmination of their high school academic careers with graduation ceremonies held June 20 and 21, respectively.

With board of education members, school faculty, families and friends on hand to witness the milestone, the nearly 270-member NVOT and nearly 280-member NVD senior classes received their diplomas, joining the district’s proud alumni and walking off into the first day of the rest of their lives.

The district extended its congratulations to valedictorians Antonia Sames of NV-Demarest and Grace Choi of NV-Old Tappan, as well as salutatorians Lily Siegel of NV-Demarest and Brian Jeffrey Walker of NV-Old Tappan, and the entire class of 2019.

Old Tappan’s commencement ceremony was held indoors due to rain, which could not dampen high spirits, while Demarest’s was held outdoors as planned.
