POLICE BLOTTER: Sept. 13 Appears To Have Been A Busy Night For Car Burglars

CRESSKILL, N.J.—On Sept. 13 at 9:17 a.m., a Lancaster Court resident reported that unknown actor(s) entered his vehicle and stole his brief case and other various items. The resident was already in New York at work and planned to respond to police headquarters that night.

On Sept. 13 at 11:07, a Michele Court resident responded to police headquarters to report that sometime over the night, unknown actors went through her vehicle and took her key fob. The vehicle had been blocked by another parked vehicle and nothing else was taken. The woman was advised to have her key fob changed. 

On Sept. 13 at 12:33 p.m., a Hillside Avenue resident walked into police headquarters reporting her vehicle had been broken into the previous night. The woman had left her vehicle unlocked, and her EZ Pass was stolen.

On Sept. 13 at 5:47 p.m., a Michele Court resident reported to police that someone had entered his vehicle the previous night and taken two pairs of glasses. Nothing else of value was taken and the resident reported it as a matter of record only.
