TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON—The Township of Washington Police Department advises it will train at Westwood Regional Jr./Sr. High School on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 8 a.m. to approximately noon.
During this time, both the WTPD and superintendent Jill Mortimer said, residents might notice multiple police vehicles outside the school. Officers will be training both inside and outside the building.
Areas designated for the training will be closed to the public and clearly marked “Police Training in Progress.”
The department website indicates officers last trained at the school, at 701 Ridgewood Road, on Aug. 1 and 2.
