PARK RIDGE—The Park Ridge Police Department enjoyed huge scoops of support during its Annual Back to Scoop Night, held Wednesday at the Park Ridge Dairy Queen. Students, parents, residents, and friends of the community came out in force to enjoy the evening with officers.

“We’d like to thank all of our students, parents, residents, friends, and family who came out last night for another amazing turnout,” said the department on Facebook (see their page) Thursday morning. The event has become a staple in the community, offering a chance for police officers to connect with residents in a positive way.

A special thanks was extended to Park Ridge Dairy Queen for hosting the event and to A Little Cake, which provided a selection of delicious chocolate chip cookies, complementing the evening’s frozen treats.
