PVHS presents its fall play, an online ‘Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon,’ Nov. 19–21

GRIMM INDEED! Two narrators and a troupe of actors are attempting to present all 209 of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. See it online!

HILLSDALE, N.J.—Pascack Valley High School presents its fall play, “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” (stay-at-home version) Nov. 19–21, online only. Performances are at 7 p.m., with a 1 p.m. Sunday matinee.

Narrators Skylar Fay, a senior, and Kelly Donlan, a sophomore, and a troupe of actors are attempting to present all 209 of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. The actors combine classics such as “Snow White” and “Hansel and Gretel” with more bizarre, obscure stories such as “The Girl Without Hands” and “Fearful Johannes.”

Directors Tom and Merielle Lupfer chose this production because it incorporates a large cast of characters in a remote format, a necessity for this fall. A cast of 25 actors is supported by more than 20 crew focusing on costumes, props, hair/makeup, sound, and video editing.

Streaming passes are $15 (plus fees) at www.pvhstheatre.org
