Westwood’s Summer Concert Series is getting another weather-related delay.
The Recreation Department announced that Tuesday night’s scheduled performance by The Counterfeiters has been postponed until Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.
The band was originally scheduled to perform July 21 but was postponed because of extreme heat. This time, organizers cited the forecast for heavy rain.
The Counterfeiters, a North Jersey band, will bring a 1990s party rock tribute featuring alternative and grunge-era favorites, including songs associated with Oasis, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Smash Mouth, No Doubt, Lit, Third Eye Blind and more.
Organizers encouraged concertgoers to break out the torn jeans, flannel shirts, and butterfly hair clips for a retro night of music.
The free concert is wheelchair accessible. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and to support local restaurants by bringing picnic baskets from Westwood eateries.
The 2026 Summer Concert Series is sponsored by First Westwood Realty, Visions Federal Credit Union, Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center, Light Bridge Academy and Valley Bank.
