RIVER VALE—The town’s annual Ragamuffin Parade on Saturday, Oct. 19 began at the 7-Eleven at 9 a.m. and had the benefit of a police Humvee escort to Roberge Elementary School, where Munchkins, bagels, cookies, juice, and coffee were waiting at the gym.

The Rockers Dance Team and Magic Bob of Party Magic entertained a procession of heroes, monsters, Muppets, athletes, bees, witches, officers, Hogwarts’ finest, dinosaurs, and at least two youngsters representing the fashion of the eighties and the nineties.

And so many more. And their parents.
