The Emerson Recreation Commission invites residents to participate in a Sporting Goods Used Equipment Swap on Saturday, March 1 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Emerson Recreation Center, 20 Palisade Ave.
Community members can bring clean, gently used, and outgrown sports gear and equipment—including cleats, bats, balls, gloves, helmets, shoes, and rackets—to swap with others. This event helps extend the life of sports equipment, reduces waste, and saves families money.

Residents of New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District who need assistance with federal agencies—including Social Security, Medicare, and VA benefits—can meet with representatives from Congressman Josh Gottheimer’s office at Emerson Borough Hall on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
