Guest speaker and master storyteller Jonathan Kruk will present a lively portrayal of Muhlenberg, who was both a Lutheran and Episcopal minister and went on to serve with distinction in the Revolutionary War. According to the church, Muhlenberg famously ended a sermon in Woodstock, Va., in January 1776 by removing his clerical robes to reveal the uniform of a Virginia militia officer.

Kruk is known for solo performances of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and “A Christmas Carol” and has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, the Today Show, the BBC, and the Travel Channel. He also has received history-based storytelling honors from the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Sons of the American Revolution.

Tickets are $20 per person by reservation only. The church is handicap accessible. To reserve, call the church office at (201) 768-6310. Payment is by check.
