Taste of Park Ridge Part of Borough’s 125 Anniversary Fun

The 125th Anniversary of Park Ridge Taste of Park Ridge held Oct. 13 at the Park Ridge Elks Lodge was a huge success! Special thanks to Mayor Keith Misciagna, the 125th Anniversary of Park Ridge Committee, the Park Ridge Elks, and the Park Ridge Recreation and Cultural Committee!

Special thanks to our generous culinary businesses either located in Park Ridge or owned by Park Ridge residents who are participating in the great event: Marc’s Deli, Esty Street, The Ridge Diner, The Village Grille, Momma’s Kitchen, The Park Steakhouse, 103 Prime at Valentino’s, B & M Market, Pesto Italian Bistro, El Azteca, A Little Cake, Regina’s Sweet Temptations, IL FRENO Expresso Bar, Sean O’Casey’s Irish Pub at the Park Ridge Marriott.

Proceeds of the Taste of Park Ridge event offset the ticket price of the May 15, 2020 Gala at the Ballroom of the Park Ridge Marriott.

• Oct. 26 at 3 p.m.: The 125th Anniversary of Park Ridge Recreation Ragamuffin Parade.

• Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.: The 125th Anniversary of Park Ridge Recreation Tree Lighting.

• May 2, 2020: Park Ridge History Day at the Pascack Historical Society’s John C. Storms Museum.

• May 2: The 125th Anniversary of Park Ridge Recreation Committee Annual Car Show at Town Pool Lot.

• May 3: Park Ridge History Events: Historical Walk, Wortendyke Barn Museum Tour, Park Ridge Utility History—Electric Lake Pond, Park Ridge Fire Department History—Firehouse, Park Ridge Schools History—HS Little Theatre. 

At 2 p.m. at Pascack Historical Society’s John C. Storms Museum, the History of the Campbell Family and Wampum Factory, a lecture by Eric Johnson, doctoral candidate at Harvard University.

• Friday, May 15: The 125th Anniversary of Park Ridge Gala at the Park Ridge Marriott Hotel Ballroom. Save the date! Ticket information is coming in January.

Park Ridge’s Bobby Meidanis serves his famous mini crab cakes with mango salsa and citrus tartar sauce from one of his restaurants, the Village Grille in Waldwick.
