WESTWOOD—The Recreation Department invites everyone to join them for this year’s Movies in the Park series, featuring family-friendly films every Thursday in August at 8 p.m. The screenings take place in the park, offering a great opportunity to enjoy the final days of summer with family and friends.

- Aug. 22 – Tomorrowland (Rated PG): Follow the journey of an ambitious teenager who discovers a mysterious pin that transports her to a futuristic world. Together with a jaded genius, they embark on a thrilling adventure through time and space to save Earth.
- Aug. 29 – Million Dollar Arm (Rated PG): An American sports agent’s business is on the line, leading him to scout baseball talent in India. The story follows his return with two promising prospects and the valuable lessons he learns about friendship and family.
Bring your chairs and blankets for a cozy movie-watching experience. Don’t forget to shop local for your picnic essentials, and enjoy free popcorn provided at every show.
