PARK RIDGE—The Pascack Historical Society is preparing for its annual Curiosity Sale, set for Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale is held in conjunction with Saturday’s Park Ridge Town-Wide Garage Sale, bringing together residents and visitors for a weekend of antique, retro, and vintage shopping.

The event is indoors and outdoors at the society’s headquarters, 19 Ridge Ave. Shoppers will find a variety of items, including home decor, china, glassware, jewelry, HO model trains, linens, postcards, artwork, pottery, antique sheet music, figurines, cameras, and ephemera. A selection of vintage Christmas collectibles will also be available, along with other one-of-a-kind finds.

A special presale for Pascack Historical Society members is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering early access to some of the most sought-after items.

The sale is rain or shine, and attendees are advised to bring cash, as no credit cards will be accepted. All proceeds from the sale will support the society’s programs and preservation initiatives. For more information call (201) 573-0307 or visit pascackhistoricalsociety.org.

Meanwhile, the annual Town-Wide Garage Sale in Park Ridge is set for Oct. 5, offering residents an opportunity to sell a wide variety of items, including furniture, home décor, clothes, accessories, books, games, toys, bicycles, sports equipment, tools, and household items.

Registration is open, with forms available at parkridgeboro.com and at Park Ridge Borough Hall, 53 Park Ave. Maps of participating locations will be posted online on Oct. 3 and distributed at the train station on Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon, along with reusable bags for shoppers.

The event is sponsored by Carolee Chirico of Keller Williams Valley Realty and the Park Ridge Recreation Committee. The sale is expected to feature a wide range of items, catering to shoppers seeking both vintage finds and everyday household essentials.
